ISKCON Works with University in India to “Change Agriculture” in Maharashtra
Adivasi ranchers of the area. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was endorsed among ISKCON and DBSKKV today at Govardhan Eco Village (GEV), outside of Mumbai.
“The MoU involves organization between the different sides for a time of five years where the horticulture expertise and current strategies of cultivating will be given by DBSKKV to the recipients of cultivating local area in Palghar region, says Braj Hari das from ISKCON.
ISKCON’s GEV has been working with 78 ancestral towns in the Palghar area through different intercessions including rancher’s strengthening, ladies strengthening, expertise advancement for ancestral youth, country schooling, medical care, ood dissemination, water improvement for drinking and water system. Alongside the Bhaktivedanta Hospital, they have set up five essential medical services habitats in Hamrapur, Ambiste, Zadpoli, Dhuktan and Tarapur spaces of Palghar.
